Cerakoting is a detailed process that takes time to do right. Our typical turnaround time is 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the complexity of the parts and the design you choose.
Prep Work
Before we apply any Cerakote, we spend several hours prepping your parts to ensure a flawless finish. To help us out — and to avoid delays — we ask that all firearms be fully disassembled before drop-off or shipping. That means removing all pins, screws, springs, and internal components. Check out our galley section to see a completely disassembled firearm.
We are not certified gunsmiths, so our ability to disassemble firearms is limited. However, we can take apart some of the more common pistols and rifles. Just give us a call or shoot us an email — we’ll let you know what we can handle.
Design & Color
This is the fun part. Whether you have a full vision or just a general idea, we’ll work with you to bring it to life. Some customers send reference photos, others say, “Here’s what I’m thinking — put your spin on it.” Either way, we’re happy to collaborate and create something unique.
Sit Back & Relax
Once we finalize the design and price, we’ll get started. Pricing is always discussed up front and will only change in rare cases — typically if the parts arrive extremely dirty or oily and require extra cleaning. Otherwise, just sit back and let us handle the rest!
